Jennifer Lopez has added her voice to the growing wave of support surrounding Bad Bunny ahead of his highly anticipated Super Bowl LX halftime show. Just hours before he takes the stage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the global superstar shared a heartfelt message on X.

“Bad Bunny…sending you all the love, positivity and the biggest hug in the world! We are all behind you tonight. I know that you are going to kill it! I am here with you the way you were there with me! So proud to be Boriqua! Dale fuerte Benito. Como solo tú puedes hacerlo!” Lopez wrote, directly addressing the Puerto Rican artist.

The message carries particular weight given Lopez’s own history with the event. In 2020, she co-headlined the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Shakira, delivering a performance that celebrated Latin culture on one of the world’s most scrutinized stages.

Lopez was not alone in backing Bad Bunny ahead of the landmark performance. Earlier in the day, Katy Perry also shared a message of encouragement on X, writing: “You got this @sanbenito remind the world what the real American dream looks like. #SuperBowlLX.” Perry’s endorsement resonates given her own Super Bowl legacy. Her 2015 halftime show at Super Bowl XLIX drew a then-record 118.5 million viewers.

Bad Bunny now steps into that lineage with a performance that is already historic. He becomes the first solo male Latin artist to headline the Super Bowl halftime show and the first performer to deliver an entire set in Spanish.
