Justin Bieber’s return to music is off to a record-breaking start. His new album Swag, released on July 10 via Def Jam Recordings, debuted with an impressive 276 million streams in its first week on Spotify—the biggest streaming debut of his career to date.
The 21-track project outperformed all of his previous albums on the platform, including Justice (243 million), Purpose (206 million), and Changes (181 million). Several tracks—such as “Daisies,” “Go Baby,” “Walking Away,” and “All I Can Take”—quickly became fan favorites, propelling Swag to become the most streamed album of the week on Spotify.

After a three-year hiatus, Swag marks a creative shift for the 32-year-old pop star. The album leans into alternative R&B, lo-fi soul, and stripped-down production, signaling a new chapter shaped by introspection and personal growth. Bieber explores themes of fatherhood, vulnerability, and love with a more mature tone than ever before. Collaborators on the album include Carter Lang, Daniel Caesar, Dylan Wiggins, Dijon, mk.gee, and Eddie Benjamin, while guest features come from Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. While fans await to see how Swag performed in its first week in the U.S., the LP has already landed on several charts, including the UK Albums Chart (No. 4) and the ARIA Albums Chart (No. 2).
