In a week that saw the highly anticipated returns of Justin Bieber and BLACKPINK, it was Tyla who claimed the crown for best new release. The South African superstar dropped her new single “Is It,” which secured 35% of fans’ votes. The song serves as the second single from Tyla’s upcoming mixtape We Wanna Party, following the lead track “Bliss.”

“Is It” marked Tyla’s strongest first-day performance on Spotify, opening with just over 1.2 million streams—300K more than “Bliss.” A widely praised music video was released alongside the song, showcasing Tyla’s signature charm and dance moves.

Following closely behind Tyla is Justin Bieber’s long-awaited seventh studio album, Swag (32%). The LP marks a powerful return for the Canadian singer, who embraces an alternative R&B sound. Swag debuted with over 70 million streams on Spotify—Justin’s biggest opening to date—and landed all 21 tracks on the Daily Global Spotify Chart, with “Daises” debuting at No. 1 with 8.3 million streams.

Rounding out the podium is BLACKPINK’s comeback single “Jump,” whose infectious beat earned 20% of fans’ votes. Closing out the weekly poll is TWICE’s new album This Is For, which received 13% of the total vote.
