Kali Uchis is once again commanding attention online, this time with a playful tease that has fans anticipating a festive surprise. The Colombian-American singer sparked fresh excitement around her unreleased track “Muévelo,” a reggaeton-leaning demo that has quietly become one of her most requested songs of 2025.

Originally leaked earlier this year, “Muévelo” found a second life on TikTok, where its infectious rhythm and Spanish-language hook inspired thousands of user-created videos. The track quickly stood out as a fan favorite among Uchis’ unreleased material, spreading far beyond her core audience and gaining traction.

On December 13, Uchis fueled speculation about an official release by posting a TikTok of herself vibing to the song’s audio. In the caption, she hinted at a possible holiday drop, writing in Spanish that she was “thinking about giving you this little gift for Christmas, if you really want it.” The post instantly ignited fan reactions, with comments flooding in and pre-save links for “Muévelo” appearing shortly after across streaming platforms.

The timing feels intentional. Uchis is currently riding strong momentum following the release of her fifth studio album, Sincerely, which arrived in May to widespread critical acclaim. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and marked her third consecutive top-ten entry. Its deluxe edition, Sincerely: P.S., expanded the project later in the year with new collaborations.

While Sincerely leaned into soulful pop and R&B textures, “Muévelo” highlights Uchis’ continued connection to Latin rhythms and her bilingual artistry. A standalone single would not only satisfy longtime fans but also extend the album’s era with a lighter, celebratory note as the year winds down.
