The NFL’s international expansion took another historic leap as Karol G headlines the halftime show at the league’s 2025 season opener in São Paulo, Brazil. The Colombian superstar lights up the stage tonight, September 6, at Corinthians Arena during the Week 1 clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
The performance marks a milestone moment for both Karol G and the NFL. Not only is it the league’s first-ever game streamed exclusively on YouTube Live, but it is also the first time an NFL broadcast is being made globally free to access. For Karol G, it represents another defining stage in a year already packed with career highs, following the release of her hit album Tropicoqueta.

Karol G’s performance comes on the heels of Tropicoqueta’s success. Ahead of the event, she expressed her excitement in a heartfelt Instagram post:
