In our latest reader poll, fans overwhelmingly voted Karol G’s new album Tropicoqueta as the Best New Release of the Week, securing an impressive 80% of the vote. The Colombian superstar made her highly anticipated comeback with her fifth album. Preceded by the lead single “Latina Foreva,” the LP sees Karol G proudly paying homage to her Latin roots with a unique blend of genres ranging from mariachi to reggaetón. It features several standout tracks, including “Papasito,” released as the album’s second single, and “Cuando Me Muera Te Olvido,” which samples George Michael’s timeless hit “Careless Whisper.”

Trailing behind Tropicoqueta is American Heart (10%), Benson Boone’s sophomore album, which further cements his status as a rising star. The project includes fan favorites like “Mystical Magical” and “Mr. Elastic.” Close behind are Cardi B’s “Outside” (6%) and Ed Sheeran’s “Drive” from the F1 movie soundtrack, which rounded out the poll with 4% of the vote.
