KATSEYE has withdrawn from the lineup for Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival after Megan sustained an ankle injury during rehearsal. The group announced the cancellation on Weverse, confirming that doctors advised Megan to stay off her ankle and prioritize recovery ahead of KATSEYE’s upcoming tour.
Megan sprained her ankle on August 26 while preparing for the group’s scheduled performance at Daisy Chain Fields, which takes place Saturday, August 29, at Great Park in Irvine, California. The group said the decision was made after Megan was evaluated by doctors and that she needs time to properly heal before returning to performances.

“We’re so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday,” KATSEYE wrote in its statement. “Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour.”
The group also addressed the disappointment surrounding the cancellation, particularly because of the festival’s purpose. “We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there,” KATSEYE continued. “We were especially excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it’s not just about music, but the greater mission of joy and community.”
Devon Again has since been added to the Daisy Chain Fields lineup, filling the opening created by KATSEYE’s cancellation. The festival will still feature performances from Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Garbage and the Breeders, alongside special guests Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O.
Organized and hosted by Olivia Rodrigo, Daisy Chain Fields is inspired by Lilith Fair and marks the singer’s first major festival built around an all-women or women-fronted lineup. All participating artists are performing without fees, while 100% of net proceeds will support organizations focused on women’s and girls’ rights, reproductive health and economic freedom.
The cancellation comes during a major period for KATSEYE. The group recently scored its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when WILD opened atop the chart dated August 29 with 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States. Released August 14 through HYBE x Geffen Records, the five-track EP also generated 145,000 pure album sales, giving KATSEYE career highs in both categories.
Megan’s injury also comes as the group prepares for its upcoming Wildworld tour, scheduled to begin in September. The group is already operating with a reduced lineup, with Sophia Laforteza and Manon currently away from activities. Sophia stepped back from promotions earlier this month after medical professionals advised her to take extended time for rest and care, with her condition expected to be reassessed in September.
Despite the latest setback, KATSEYE’s focus now shifts toward Megan’s recovery and the September tour.
