Lady Gaga brought her latest release straight to the stage. During the April 9, 2026 stop of The MAYHEM Ball tour in Saint Paul, Minnesota, she performed “Runway” live for the first time, closing the night with a high-impact encore that doubled as the song’s onstage debut.

The performance took place at the Grand Casino Arena, where Gaga used “Runway”—her newly released collaboration with Doechii—as the final bow of the show. Backed by a full ensemble of dancers, she leaned into the track’s fashion-forward energy, staging a choreographed strut that mirrored a runway walk.

Released just hours earlier, “Runway” marks the first official collaboration between Gaga and Doechii. The track arrived as a surprise drop tied to the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, where it features prominently in the final trailer released April 6. Built around pulsing house elements and sharp, stylized lyricism, the record positions itself as a central piece of the film’s soundtrack campaign.

Timing played a key role in the moment’s impact. Gaga introduced the performance on Night One of her two-show Minnesota run (April 9–10), transforming a fresh release into an immediate live highlight.

The Saint Paul dates also carry additional weight within the tour narrative. Just days earlier, Gaga canceled a scheduled Montreal performance following a respiratory infection, acting on medical advice. Her return to the stage in Minnesota signaled a quick recovery, with both shows proceeding as planned before the tour moves toward its closing stretch at Madison Square Garden on April 13.
