Lana Del Rey has offered her clearest update yet on her long-awaited tenth studio album, while also confirming the arrival of a new single later this month. On Saturday, February 7, the singer shared a series of Instagram Stories announcing that her next song, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” will be released on February 17.
Alongside the single reveal, Del Rey addressed the status of her forthcoming album, explaining that its release is now expected in at least three months. The delay, she noted, is tied primarily to vinyl production timelines.
“White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” will be the third single from the record. The song features songwriting contributions from Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy. Production is handled by longtime creative partner Jack Antonoff.
The new single arrives as part of a project now officially titled Stove, Del Rey’s tenth studio album, set for release via Interscope and Polydor Records. Initially teased under multiple titles, including Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay, the album has undergone several revisions, both thematically and structurally. Del Rey has described the record as her most deliberate step toward country music, though she has been careful to frame the sound as an extension of her established Southern Gothic and American songwriting rather than a full stylistic departure.
Two tracks from the album, “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird,” were released in April 2025.
