Lana Del Rey has officially revealed the title of her long-awaited tenth studio album: Stove. According to W Magazine, the record is slated for release at the end of January 2026 and will mark a sharp turn in the singer-songwriter’s evolving career. The project, Del Rey says, is built predominantly on country influences, a genre she has been hinting at exploring for nearly a decade.
“The majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country!” Del Rey told W Magazine. “I’ve asked myself, Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?”

The announcement follows months of speculation about her sonic direction. Earlier this year, Del Rey released two surprise singles—“Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird”—which leaned heavily into country stylings with stripped-down instrumentals and storytelling-driven lyrics. While the album was originally scheduled for May under different working titles (Lasso and later The Right Person Will Stay), it faced delays and a series of name changes before settling on its current title, Stove.
The project arrives three years after her critically acclaimed 2023 album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and earned Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album. That record showcased Del Rey’s trademark blend of dream-pop, folk, and orchestral arrangements, but with Stove, she is set to embrace an Americana-rooted sound more fully than ever before.
