Lily Allen returned to the stage on March 2, launching her West End Girl Tour at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The opening night in Scotland was her first proper live show in seven years, marking a measured, theatrical comeback built around her 2025 album West End Girl.

Rather than leaning on nostalgia, Allen chose a format that felt deliberate and quietly bold. The evening opened not with her entrance, but with an unconventional support act: the Dallas Minor Trio, a string ensemble tasked with reimagining her early catalog. Instrumental versions of “Smile,” “The Fear,” “F—k You,” and “LDN” filled the hall, while lyrics were projected on a screen above the stage. The audience, not Allen, carried the melodies. It played like a curated karaoke session.

After a short interval, Allen appeared for a concise 45-minute set. She performed West End Girl in full, track by track, in album order. No detours. No greatest-hits encore.

The West End Girl Tour continues across the U.K. and Europe in the coming weeks.
