Metro Boomin and Future’s joint album, “We Don’t Trust You,” has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking the biggest sales week of 2024 in the US with 251,000 units sold. Released through Wilburn Holding Co., Epic Records, Boominati Worldwide, and Republic Records, the album also boasts the biggest streaming week, accumulating over 300 million streams. Particularly contributing to its success is the track “Like That,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, which garnered significant attention, especially due to its nature as a dissing track towards Drake. Additionally, two other singles, “Type Shit” and “Young Metro,” were released in support of the LP. Outside the US, “We Don’t Trust You” reached number two on both the ARIA Albums Chart (Australia) and the UK Albums Chart. Metro Boomin and Future have already hinted at a follow-up project scheduled for release on April 12th.
