Future is set to return with his biggest solo statement in four years. The Real Me arrives tonight at midnight (July 10), giving fans 22 new tracks and marking the rapper’s first solo studio album since I Never Liked You in 2022.
Following a dominant run alongside Metro Boomin and months of cryptic teasers, anticipation has reached a fever pitch ahead of what could become one of hip-hop’s biggest releases of the summer.
When does The Real Me release?
The Real Me will be released on Friday, July 10, 2026, through Freebandz and Epic Records.
The project is Future’s tenth studio album and his first full-length solo effort in four years. It also follows Mixtape Pluto (2024) and arrives after the chart-topping collaborative albums We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both created with Metro Boomin.
What is the lead single?
Future launched the album campaign on June 26 with “Radio,” which serves as the album’s eleventh track.
The song introduced debuted at No. 64 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Although Future has teased surprise collaborations throughout the rollout, no guest features had been officially revealed at publication time.
What has Future said about the album?
Instead of previewing additional songs, Future recently shared a spoken-word teaser centered on discipline, growth and navigating success.
“I gotta know how to be successful as a man. You done came from the ghetto. The way you maneuvering don’t go with the money that you making,” he says in the clip.
Later, he emphasizes the importance of accountability, adding, “You supposed to have somebody every day that you mediating with about how to move in life.”
Those remarks suggest The Real Me could be one of Future’s most introspective projects, arriving after the loss of longtime friend and collaborator Young Scooter in 2025.
Why is this album important?
The release represents a significant moment in Future’s career. I Never Liked You debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 222,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, while his two 2024 collaborations with Metro Boomin also opened atop the chart.
