Future is on pace to secure another chart-topping album. According to the first projections from Hits Daily Double, The Real Me is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with approximately 135,000 equivalent album units earned during its opening week.

If the forecast holds when Billboard publishes its official chart, the Atlanta rapper will earn his 12th No. 1 album in the United States.

Released on July 10 via Freebandz and Epic Records, The Real Me marks Future’s first solo studio album since I Never Liked You, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 222,000 units in 2022. In the years since, he reached No. 1 twice alongside Metro Boomin with We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, making this latest project another potential victory for Pluto as a solo act.

The strong projection follows an impressive streaming launch. During its first day on Spotify, The Real Me generated 23.8 million streams, becoming the sixth-biggest first-day debut for a rap album released in 2026 and Future’s fifth-largest opening day on the platform. Unlike several of his previous chart successes, the 22-track album contains no guest features, leaving Future to carry the entire project himself.

Several songs immediately gained traction globally. “Fukk a Interview” led the way with 1.8 million Spotify streams, while “California Girls” matched that figure. Tracks including “One Two,” “Tank Top Pluto,” “No Misery,” “Konnichiwa,” and “Weight Up” also entered Spotify’s Daily Global Chart within hours of release.

Apple Music reflected similar momentum. Shortly after the album arrived, Future occupied 18 of the platform’s Top 20 songs in the United States, including the entire Top 9. The achievement made him the first artist since his own Mixtape Pluto in 2024 to control Apple Music’s Top 5 without featuring another artist.
