Olivia Dean continues her global momentum as The Art of Loving returns to No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, marking its third non-consecutive week at the top in Australia. Despite the Christmas season, the LP holds strong atop the chart, driven by the massive success of singles like “Man I Need” and “So Easy (To Fall in Love).”

Dean’s chart success also reflects a historic year for women on the ARIA Albums Chart. Nine female artists have now claimed a No. 1 album in 2025, including Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Tate McRae, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Taylor Swift, and Dean herself.

On the singles side, Dean extends her dominance even further. “Man I Need” secures a fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, making her the fourth solo female artist to lead the chart this year. She joins Lola Young with “Messy,” Doechii’s “Anxiety,” and Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.” The year has also seen standout multi-week runs from ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” and the fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X from K-Pop Demon Hunters.

Elsewhere on this week’s Australian charts, Pink Floyd’s 50th anniversary edition of Wish You Were Here debuts at No. 5 on the Albums Chart and lands at No. 1 on both the Vinyl Chart and the On Replay Albums Chart. The original release spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1975 and marked the first of four chart-topping albums for the band in Australia.

As December rolls on, seasonal classics once again dominate the On Replay Singles Chart. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” holds at No. 1, followed by staples from Wham!, Brenda Lee, Bobby Helms, Ariana Grande, and Kelly Clarkson.
