Olivia Rodrigo is returning to the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles for an intimate performance and conversation on September 1, one day before her new exhibition, Olivia Rodrigo: The Cure Unraveled, opens to the public. The special event will feature Rodrigo in conversation with filmmaker Cameron Crowe before she takes the stage inside the museum.
The September 1 appearance will offer fans a rare opportunity to see Rodrigo perform in a significantly smaller setting than the arenas she will visit later this year. The event will take place at the Grammy Museum’s roughly 200-seat Clive Davis Theater, with American Express cardholders receiving the first opportunity to purchase tickets Friday at 10:30 a.m. PT.

Olivia Rodrigo’s appearance coincides with the opening of The Cure Unraveled on September 2. The exhibition will remain on display through February 22, 2027, giving fans an extended look at the creative process behind her current era.
At the center of the exhibition is the handmade visual world created for “the cure,” the second single from Rodrigo’s third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. Directed by Cat Solen and Jaime Gerin, the music video places Rodrigo inside a surreal, midcentury-inspired hospital constructed from cardboard and felt.
Props from the video will form a major part of the museum presentation, including Olivia’s nurse costume, the miniature operating-room set and hand-stitched artwork created for the album packaging. The exhibition will also explore the craftsmanship behind the visual, while additional never-before-seen items from Rodrigo’s decade-long career are expected to be added later this fall.
The timing places the event between several important moments in Olivia Rodrigo’s 2026 campaign. She will host the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine on August 29, featuring performances from Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Garbage, the Breeders and KATSEYE, alongside special guests Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O.
Just days earlier, Rodrigo released “serena joy,” an outtake from You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, with all proceeds benefiting the Daisy Chain Fields Fund. The Dan Nigro-produced track quickly reached the top five on the global iTunes chart and peaked at No. 55 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart.
