A woman has been arrested after opening fire outside the Beverly Hills home of Rihanna while the global pop star was inside the property, authorities confirmed. The alarming incident occurred on Sunday afternoon and prompted a rapid response from the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to multiple reports from Los Angeles Times, TMZ, and CBS News, police responded to calls reporting gunfire around 1:21 p.m. PT on March 8. The shooting took place outside Rihanna’s colonial-style residence in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood, an affluent residential area known for housing several high-profile celebrities.

Investigators say a 30-year-old woman fired approximately ten shots toward the property from inside a white Tesla parked across the street from the home’s gated entrance. One bullet reportedly penetrated a wall of the residence, raising immediate concern for those inside. Despite the seriousness of the incident, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.

Police said Rihanna was present inside the house at the time of the gunfire. Sgt. Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the LAPD, confirmed that everyone inside the residence remained unharmed. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.

The identity of the woman has not yet been publicly released, and investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting. Officials have not clarified whether the act specifically targeted the singer or whether it may have been a random incident involving gunfire.

The residence is shared by Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. The couple also lives there with their three young children. While Rihanna’s presence in the home at the time of the shooting has been confirmed, authorities have not publicly stated whether A$AP Rocky or the children were also inside when the gunfire occurred.
