Yesterday, on December 18, Rihanna attended the Fenty x Puma Sneaker Launch Party in Los Angeles, California. The collaboration between the pop star and the sportswear giant had been on standby since 2017 as the singer focused more on Fenty Beauty. This new sneaker collection, “The Creeper Phatty,” arrives after many changes have occurred in Rihanna’s life. “Returning to Puma as a mom, in a new space, allowed me to develop new perspectives and ideas,” she said when the collaboration was announced.

For the occasion, Rihanna showed up in large jeans and a purple jacket adorned with a small fur coat of the same color, all coordinated with the Puma sneakers. During a red carpet interview, the singer was asked about her 2024 schedule and if she has new music on the way. The pop star didn’t provide much information and, with a laugh, answered, “I can’t tell you everything, girl! It’s giving crystal ball.”
This year, Rihanna hasn’t released any new material. Her latest single, “Lift Me Up,” was released in October 2022 as the lead single from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. This fall, many speculations about a possible return in 2024 emerged. Entertainment Tonight reported that Rihanna has plans to release new music in the upcoming year and embark on a world tour in 2025. However, the report was denied by a source to Billboard. Earlier this year, Rihanna told British Vogue that the goal was to release an LP in 2023, but shortly after that interview, she announced her second pregnancy.
