Rosalía gave fans an unexpected preview of what’s next during the second night of her sold-out LUX Tour stop at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on July 1. The Spanish superstar debuted a brand-new, unreleased song, instantly fueling speculation that fresh music could arrive sooner than expected.
The surprise came shortly after her performance of “CUUUUuuuuuute” on the show’s B-stage. Instead of transitioning into the next scheduled section of the concert, the orchestral outro shifted into an entirely new composition that had never been performed publicly. The brief teaser caught the audience off guard, with clips spreading rapidly across social media within minutes of the performance.
The unreleased track arrived during the second of two acclaimed Los Angeles shows, which took place on June 29 and July 1. Throughout both nights, Rosalía transformed the Kia Forum into an elaborate theatrical production centered around her latest album, LUX. The concerts featured a full live orchestra, intricate choreography, dramatic costume changes, and cinematic staging that blended spiritual imagery, high fashion, and flamenco-inspired intensity.
The Los Angeles shows had already generated headlines before the new song debuted. During opening night on June 29, Karol G made a surprise appearance during the tour’s signature “Confessionario” segment. Rather than performing, the Colombian singer shared a candid story about a former relationship, reflecting on repeated disappointments surrounding birthdays and ultimately realizing the pattern reflected a broader lack of consideration. The emotional exchange highlighted the intimate format of the segment, which has become one of the defining elements of the LUX Tour.
The U.S. leg itself has marked an important return for Rosalía after postponing its original opening dates because of a family emergency. When she resumed the tour in Boston on June 11, she thanked fans for their patience, telling the crowd that “loved ones need to come first.”
