ROSÉ is embracing a bold new chapter for BLACKPINK — and she cannot hide her excitement. In a new interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, released Friday (Dec. 12), the global superstar revealed just how energized she feels about the group’s next era, calling it a creative reset shaped by growth, distance, and renewed inspiration.

“I am obsessed with JUMP. I love this new era of BLACKPINK,” ROSÉ shared. “I think it has a lot to do with how we kind of went out and got inspired and then came back together. It’s just like a whole new funky, new little thing, and I love it.” Her comments arrive as anticipation builds around BLACKPINK’s long-awaited third studio album, officially confirmed for early 2026.



The interview also touched on ROSÉ’s personal growth through her debut solo album rosie. For the first time, she took a deeply hands-on approach to songwriting, leaning into vulnerability and emotional honesty. She revisited the massive success of “APT.” her chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, and shared behind-the-scenes moments from its creation, including the song’s origins in a Korean drinking game. ROSÉ also recalled Chris Martin flawlessly rehearsing his lines before inviting her onstage in Seoul.

ROSÉ’s enthusiasm aligns with mounting momentum around BLACKPINK’s comeback. YG Entertainment recently confirmed that the group’s upcoming album is in its final stages, with members JENNIE, LISA, JISOO, and ROSÉ filming a new music video throughout October and November. JISOO further fueled excitement by telling fans that comeback preparations are nearly complete.
