Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating another career-defining moment. The pop superstar’s seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning her the biggest opening week of 2025 for a female album.
Carpenter took to social media to share her gratitude, posting a video from the recording sessions and a heartfelt message:
“You guys have made Man’s Best Friend my second #1 album and my highest debut ever. That is very surreal!!! I feel so lucky to have such beautiful love and support all around me. Making this album with Jack, Amy, and John was one of the most pure, wholesome, electric times in my life and to see the way you are all resonating with it just makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you for listening (top to bottom!!!) and thank you for bringing this album into your lives and having such a damn good time with it, I’m having fun too :’) I love you I love you I love you.”

Man’s Best Friend had also a strong debut on the Hot 100. Released September 5, the 12-track project placed every single song on the Billboard Hot 100 in its debut week, led by “Tears” at No. 3 and “Manchild” rebounding to No. 4 after its No. 1 debut earlier this summer. Other standouts include “Nobody’s Son” (No. 12), “My Man on Willpower” (No. 15), and “When Did You Get Hot?” (No. 17).
Beyond U.S. success, Man’s Best Friend has also made waves internationally. In the U.K., it entered at No. 1 with 85,500 units sold, making it the fastest-selling album by an international artist in 2025. Three tracks currently sit in the U.K. Top 10: “Tears” at No. 3, “Manchild” at No. 4, and “My Man on Willpower” at No. 7.
