Sabrina Carpenter eyes her second No. 1 album on the next Billboard 200 chart. According to Hits Daily Double, her brand-new album Man’s Best Friend pulled in a staggering 358,000 units in its opening week. That number not only secures her a No. 1 debut but also positions the record for a massive Billboard 200 bow.
If official chart data mirrors projections, Man’s Best Friend will deliver the biggest opening week for any female album in 2025, surpassing the 219,000-unit start of Lady Gaga’s Mayhem. For Sabrina, it also marks her second-largest career week, just shy of the 362,000 units earned by Short n’ Sweet in 2024.

Beyond sales, Man’s Best Friend is breaking streaming barriers. The album logged 64 million Spotify streams in its first 24 hours, making it the biggest female debut on the platform in 2025 so far. Lead single “Manchild” has already topped the Billboard Hot 100 and re-entered the Top 10 this week, while follow-up single “Tears” is on track for its own Top 10 debut.
