KATSEYE, Turnstile, Rosalía and Gracie Abrams are set to bring four very different sounds to the opening stretch of Saturday Night Live Season 52. The newly announced lineup pairs Jalen Brunson with KATSEYE on September 26, Dakota Johnson with Turnstile on October 3, Shane Gillis with Rosalía on October 10, and Inde Navarrette with Gracie Abrams for the Halloween episode on October 31.
The season premiere will feature Brunson, the New York Knicks point guard who led the team to its first NBA championship in 53 years and was named 2026 NBA Finals MVP. KATSEYE will make its SNL debut as the musical guest after releasing its third EP, WILD, on August 14. The group is currently on its sold-out WILDWORLD tour.

The September 26 episode marks the earliest SNL season premiere in 14 years. The show returns after a transitional 51st season that saw Bowen Yang and Chloe Fineman depart the cast, while longtime repertory players including Kenan Thompson, Michael Che, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Marcello Hernández, James Austin Johnson, Colin Jost and Sarah Sherman remain.
Dakota Johnson will host the October 3 episode for the third time. Her previous appearances came in 2015 and 2024, and the actress will return to Studio 8H shortly after the October 2 release of her new Verity film. Baltimore hardcore band Turnstile will make its SNL debut while supporting its latest era with the North American NEVER ENOUGH Tour P. 2.
Shane Gillis takes over hosting duties October 10 for his third SNL appearance as host, following episodes in Seasons 49 and 50. The comedian and Tires star also made headlines during summer 2026 after a sold-out performance at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field helped him break two Guinness World Records.
Rosalía will join Gillis as musical guest, returning to SNL after her previous performance in 2022. The Grammy-winning Spanish singer-songwriter recently concluded her Lux world tour in support of the critically acclaimed album of the same name, which she executive-produced and recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra.
The Halloween episode on October 31 will feature Inde Navarrette as host and Gracie Abrams as musical guest. Navarrette has emerged as one of 2026’s breakout actresses following her performance as Nikki in Focus Features’ Obsession, which has surpassed $500 million worldwide, and is set to play Rogue in the forthcoming X-Men film.
Abrams will make her second SNL musical guest appearance after first performing on the show in December 2024. She released her third studio album, Daughter from Hell, in July and will be supporting the project on The Look at My Life Tour.
