Ariana Grande has extended the petal era with a new live release. The pop superstar has dropped petal (the completely live album), a 12-track collection featuring live versions of every song from her latest studio album, exclusively on iTunes for $9.99.
Released five weeks after petal arrived on July 31, the new project captures the songs in their live form following Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour. The release gives fans a way to revisit the material as performed onstage during her first major headline tour since 2019.

petal (the completely live album) includes live renditions of all 12 tracks from the studio album, including “hate that i made you love me,” the former Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 that rebounded to No. 2 following the album’s release. The title track also became a major chart performer, debuting at No. 4 and giving Ariana Grande her 24th career Top 10 hit.
The original petal era delivered one of the biggest chart weeks of Ariana Grande’s career. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 295,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., marking her seventh chart-topping album and her biggest debut of the 2020s. It also represented her strongest sales week in more than a decade.
Grande made history on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. All 12 tracks from petal entered the chart’s Top 40, marking the first time every song from one of her albums simultaneously reached that range. Eleven new entries pushed her career total from 99 to 110 Hot 100 appearances, making Ariana Grande only the 23rd artist in chart history to surpass 100 entries and just the fourth woman to do so.
Her streaming performance was equally strong. petal generated more than 249 million global Spotify streams during its first week, including over 62 million on release day, while both “hate that i made you love me” and “petal” reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart during the rollout.
The live album arrives shortly after Grande closed the Eternal Sunshine Tour at London’s O2 Arena on September 1. The 41-date run began in Oakland in June before concluding with a 10-night London residency, marking her return to major touring after the Sweetener World Tour in 2019.
Ariana Grande became emotional during the final show, thanking fans for an experience she said she would “cherish” forever.
