The iHeartRadio Music Festival 2025 officially kicked off on Friday, September 19, at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, and one of the night’s biggest highlights came from Tate McRae. The Canadian pop star, who is currently in the middle of her Miss Possessive Tour, delivered a powerful seven-song set that blended fan favorites, chart-toppers, and fresh cuts from her latest album So Close to What.
With her signature mix of raw emotion and slick choreography, McRae proved once again why she has become one of pop’s fastest-rising headliners. From heartbreak anthems to viral hits, her set had the crowd singing along from start to finish. She opened with “Sports Car,” one of her biggest hits from her new album So Close to What. She then performed her breakout emotional hit, “You Broke Me First.”
