Taylor Swift has shown once again that she’s not just the world’s biggest pop star — she’s also one of music’s most supportive listeners. In a new interview with The Morning Mash Up, Swift revealed the three artists she’s been playing on repeat lately, calling them some of the brightest talents in today’s pop scene.

I’m supporting them by streaming their music constantly in my house,” Swift said, naming Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sombr as her current favorites. All three artists have been making waves in recent years.

Tate McRae has become one of Gen Z’s defining voices with her dance-driven pop hits and emotionally sharp lyrics. Her 2024 album Think Later turned her into a global star, powered by singles like “Greedy” and “Exes.” She followed up with her first chart-topping album So Close to What, which features smash hits like “Sports Car” and “Revolving Door.”

Sabrina Carpenter has long been a Swift supporter and shares the closest friendship with the pop superstar. While they collaborated on the title track of Taylor’s new album The Life of a Showgirl, Sabrina continues to dominate on her own. After the record-breaking album Short n’ Sweet and viral hit “Espresso,” the 26-year-old Grammy winner returned a year later with another pop gem, Man’s Best Friend, featuring the infectious singles “Manchild” and “Tears.”

Meanwhile, Sombr has emerged as one of the most promising new names in alternative pop. This year, he saw a major breakthrough with songs like “Back to Friends” and “Undressed,” culminating in his debut album I Barely Know Her.

Swift’s praise comes as she enjoys her own record-breaking success. Her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, released on October 3, continues to dominate charts worldwide. The project sold over 2.7 million copies in the U.S. in just 24 hours, according to Billboard and Luminate — marking the biggest debut of her career and one of the largest in modern music history.

Beyond sales, The Life of a Showgirl has also made streaming history. The album drew 259 million first-day streams on Spotify, becoming the most-streamed release of 2025 so far. Its lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” broke Spotify’s single-day record for any track with 30.9 million streams. A few hours ago, she also unveiled the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” and it may not be the only one, as she recently teased more for this era. “I love this era,” Swift told Heart Radio. “I want to make more music videos. I actually have time to do stuff like that.”
