The countdown to Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, is almost over, and the pop icon is keeping fans in a frenzy with carefully placed teasers across cities, platforms, and streaming services. The highly anticipated album arrives on October 3, but Swift has already given her audience a taste of what’s to come through immersive events, streaming Easter eggs, and even billboards across the country.

On September 30, select fans in New York City stepped into an exclusive Spotify pop-up experience designed around the new record. The event featured immersive rooms, themed installations, photo ops, and limited merchandise. But the biggest draw was the handwritten lyrics scattered throughout the space, scribbled on mirrors, walls, and props. Swifties quickly began sharing snapshots online, sparking theories about the meanings behind the lines.

At the same time, Apple Music joined in on the rollout by embedding clues into Swift’s existing catalog. Songs from 1989 and Reputation now display capitalized letters within their lyrics, spelling out new phrases believed to belong to tracks on The Life of a Showgirl. The strategy mirrors Swift’s past use of hidden messages, once again rewarding fans who pay close attention.

As if that weren’t enough, billboards featuring fresh lyrics from the upcoming album have appeared in major cities across the United States. Here are all the lyrics unveiled so far.

“Keep it 100.”

“I heard you calling.”

“They don’t make loyalty like they used to.”

“All I ask is for your loyalty”

“Everyone’s unbothered til they’re not.”

“You wanna take a skate on the ice inside my veins?”

“You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby.”

“My infamy loves company.”
