This surprise news arrives during a special week for Twenty One Pilots. Last Sunday, May 17, marked the 10th anniversary of their iconic fourth studio album, Blurryface. Released in 2015, the LP featured timeless hits such as “Stressed Out” and “Ride.” To celebrate the milestone, the band shared a special live performance video, teasing new music with the cryptic message: “We’ll see what’s next.”

Additionally, today, May 21, marks four years since the release of their sixth album, Scaled and Icy. Notably, their most recent project, Clancy, turns one year old this Saturday, May 24. Both Clancy and the upcoming Breach serve as the final chapters of their decade-long conceptual series, a detail further confirmed in today’s announcement.

While no further details have been revealed, here’s the message they shared:

“Our new full-length album Breach will be here in September. The first song, ‘The Contract,’ comes out June 12th.

Hello Clancy, hello Blurryface, let’s finish this |-/”
