Ty Dolla $ign is back in solo mode. After years of collaborations and high-profile partnerships, the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer is set to release his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Tycoon, tonight (October 17). The project marks his first solo album in five years, following 2020’s Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

The album arrives after a busy stretch for Ty, who’s spent the last few years collaborating with some of the biggest names in music. In 2021, he teamed up with Canadian R&B duo dvsn for Cheers to the Best Memories, and in 2024, he reunited with Kanye West for Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, under their joint name ¥$. That partnership appeared to continue into Tycoon, with Kanye initially confirmed as executive producer — though the collaboration reportedly shifted following Ye’s recent social media outbursts.

Ty first announced Tycoon during Paris Fashion Week in January 2025, teasing it alongside Vultures 3. A few weeks later, he previewed several tracks during a livestream with Tyga, including early fan favorites “TWITCH” and “DON’T KILL THE PARTY.” In April, he performed at Coachella, unveiling two new songs — “I WISH” and an untitled cut — while a billboard for the album appeared outside the festival grounds. That same day, he surprised fans with a four-track EP, 4 PIECE, featuring Ant Clemons.

The official lead single, “ALL IN,” dropped on June 6 with the album’s pre-order announcement, originally scheduled for June 13 before being delayed to tonight. Tycoon features a stacked lineup of guest appearances, including Kodak Black, YG, and Tory Lanez.
