Before diving into this potential beef, it’s worth noting that over the past few days, Nicki Minaj has used the hashtags #JusticeForDemoree and #DepositionPerez to express support for Demoree Hadley, the daughter of Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez. Demoree filed a lawsuit in May 2025 claiming her mother conspired to have her committed to a mental health facility under Florida’s Baker and Marchman Acts. She alleges abuse of influence, surveillance, and character defamation by Perez and Roc Nation.

The feud with SZA began when Nicki Minaj posted a series of tweets aimed squarely at the R&B singer, mocking her appearance and tone. In one now-viral tweet, Nicki wrote: “Go draw your freckles back on, bookie. #JusticeForDemoree #DepositionPerez. Liar liar pants on fire. Sounding like a fking dead dog.” This was seemingly in response to SZA’s earlier, more subtle post: “Mercury retrograde… don’t take the bait lol silly goose.”
Nicki didn’t hold back, following up with even harsher words, including: “B*tch looking & sounding like she got stung by a fking bee. dot dot dot Draws on my fake freckles.” SZA soon replied, escalating the situation with: “I don’t give a fk bout none of that weird sh*t you popping.”
