Lorde had high praise for All Things Go Toronto after headlining the festival’s second Canadian edition, calling it “without a doubt, the coolest festival in North America” during a standout set that capped off a celebrated weekend of music.
The singer delivered the comment on Sunday night (June 7) while addressing a near-capacity crowd at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre.
“This is my second All Things Go! I’m trying to catch them all. It’s a Pokémon situation for me,” Lorde told fans. “This is, without a doubt, the coolest festival in North America.”
The endorsement carries weight coming from an artist who has performed at some of the world’s biggest festivals. Lorde’s appearance marked her second time playing an All Things Go event, further strengthening her connection with a festival that has built its identity around artist discovery, community, and representation.
All Things Go Toronto returned on June 6 and 7 for its second annual Canadian edition. Unlike many major festivals that force attendees to choose between simultaneous performances, the Toronto event utilized a single-stage format, allowing fans to experience every artist on the lineup without conflicts. The approach has become one of the festival’s defining characteristics and a major reason for its growing popularity.
Saturday’s lineup was led by Kesha and Toronto rock favorites The Beaches. Rachel Chinouriri, Holly Humberstone, Sofia Camara, and Bella Kay rounded out a day that highlighted a broad range of pop, indie, and alternative talent.
Sunday maintained that momentum with performances from Wet Leg, Del Water Gap, Jade LeMac, Momma, and Flower Face before Lorde closed the festival.
Representation remains central to the festival’s mission. According to organizers, 68.2% of artists on this year’s Toronto lineup identified as female, while 9.7% identified as non-binary. Across the festival’s history, 92% of booked acts have identified as female or non-binary.
The success of the Toronto edition arrives as anticipation builds for the festival’s flagship events in Washington, D.C., and New York later this year. Those editions are set to take place September 25-27 and feature a lineup including Hayley Williams, Mitski, Zara Larsson, Lola Young, and MUNA.
