Cardi B has built a reputation for delivering spectacle on stage, but her current run of arena shows has added another element: unpredictability. Since launching the Little Miss Drama Tour in February, the rapper has regularly surprised fans by bringing out high-profile collaborators and hometown favorites during select stops.
The tour supports Cardi B’s second studio album, Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project marked her long-awaited follow-up to Invasion of Privacy and reinforced her standing as one of rap’s most commercially dominant artists.
But for many audiences, the biggest moments have arrived when the stage suddenly fills with unexpected guests. One of the first came during the Los Angeles shows in mid-February. On the first night at the Kia Forum, Cardi welcomed GloRilla to perform their collaborative hit “Tomorrow 2.” The appearance set the tone for what would become a recurring feature of the tour.
A night later, the surprises continued. Kehlani joined Cardi onstage for “Safe” and “Folded.” Soon after, South African pop star Tyla appeared to perform “Nice Guy” and “Chanel.” The night also included a brief cameo from Blueface, who stepped out to perform “Thotiana.”
