Cardi B delivered one of the most memorable moments of her current tour on March 4 when she surprised fans in Houston by bringing out Megan Thee Stallion for a live performance of their hit collaboration “WAP.”

The unexpected reunion took place at the sold-out Toyota Center during a stop on Cardi’s ongoing Little Miss Drama Tour. Midway through the show, the rapper paused the set to tease a special guest before introducing Megan to the stage. The Houston crowd erupted as the hometown star appeared.

Together, the two rappers launched into “WAP,” their 2020 hit that became one of the defining rap singles of the decade. Cardi and Megan traded verses with the same confidence that made the original record a cultural phenomenon, feeding off the crowd’s energy throughout the performance.

Originally released in 2020, “WAP” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to become one of the most commercially successful rap collaborations in recent memory. The track spent multiple weeks atop the chart and later achieved diamond certification in the United States.

The Houston surprise unfolded as part of Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour, her first major arena headline run in years. The tour supports her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, released in September 2025. The 23-track project marked her long-awaited follow-up to “Invasion of Privacy,” arriving after a seven-year gap filled with standalone singles, collaborations and high-profile appearances.

Am I the Drama? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Cardi B the only female rapper whose first two studio albums both opened at the top of the chart.

Houston was not the first time Cardi surprised audiences with special guests on the tour. Previous stops have featured appearances from artists including GloRilla and Kehlani, adding unpredictability to each show.
