Chief Keef has officially set the release date for his next project, Skeletor. The Chicago rapper confirmed that the new tape will arrive on March 27, 2026, launching a fresh chapter just two years after his long-awaited comeback album Almighty So 2.

The rollout begins immediately. Tonight, Keef will release the lead single “Video Shoot,” featuring rising Missouri rapper ian, alongside an accompanying music video. The collaboration marks another link between the two artists after their 2024 track “Sh*t Sad.”

Skeletor continues the skeletal and gothic visual motifs Keef has leaned into across several releases during 2024 and 2025, hinting at a project that blends eerie branding with the trap experimentation that has defined his recent output. Those visual cues also align with the broader creative independence he embraced after launching his own label, 43B.

Keef’s last full-length solo album, Almighty So 2, arrived on May 10, 2024 after an infamous series of delays that saw at least nine different projected release dates appear on streaming platforms. When it finally dropped, the 16-track project debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard 200 and No. 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The album also showcased a noticeably evolved sonic palette. Rather than returning to the lo-fi intensity of the original 2013 Almighty So, Keef produced much of the sequel himself, layering orchestral samples, cinematic intros and soulful loops across the record’s dense production. The LP featured collaborations with Sexyy Red, Tierra Whack, G Herbo and Quavo.

Another project soon followed. In late 2024, Keef teamed up with Mike WiLL Made-It for the collaborative mixtape Dirty Nachos.
