North West has officially stepped into the spotlight with the release of her debut single, “Piercing on My Hand.” After weeks of anticipation, the track is now available across all major streaming platforms, following a rollout that blended social media teasing with a high-profile live debut.
The song first surfaced in mid-January, when North shared short snippets on Instagram, offering listeners a glimpse into the material she was working on. Interest intensified soon after, as she performed “Piercing on My Hand” live for the first time during Ye’s recent concert in Mexico City.
While this marks North’s first official solo single, her presence in music is not entirely new. In 2024, she appeared on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s album Vultures 2, contributing vocals to the track “Bomb.” More recently, she was featured on FKA twigs’ “Childlike Things,” a song from the artist’s GRAMMY-winning album Eusexua.
