The back-to-back headline plan built around Kanye West (aka Ye) and Travis Scott at RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia has reportedly been canceled by local authorities, according to Reggionline, marking a major disruption to one of Europe’s most anticipated live bookings for July 2026.

Both performances were scheduled within the opening frame of Hellwatt Festival, with Travis Scott set for July 17 and Ye following on July 18. The decision, per local reporting, was driven by public order and safety considerations tied to expected attendance levels, crowd control complexity across consecutive stadium-scale nights, and the broader sensitivity surrounding large hip-hop events in the region.

RCF Arena, a purpose-built open-air venue with a capacity of up to 103,000 spectators, had positioned itself as a flagship European festival site. The Hellwatt rollout leaned heavily on its scale, pairing two of hip-hop’s most commercially dominant touring figures in immediate succession.

Authorities reportedly flagged additional risk factors, including previous concert cancellations involving both artists in other territories and the potential for counter-protests. No official public statement confirming the cancellation has been released at the time of writing, though local reporting indicates the decision has already been communicated through municipal channels.
