Offset has spoken out following a shooting incident earlier this week, sharing a message of resilience after being discharged from the hospital. The Atlanta rapper posted an update on Instagram on April 10, thanking fans for their support while signaling a renewed focus on recovery and music.

Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good….but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music… realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses… Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win,” he wrote.

The statement arrives days after Offset—born Kiari Kendrell Cephus—was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the evening of April 6. The incident reportedly unfolded in the valet area following a physical altercation. He sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, believed to be to the leg, and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities later arrested Lil Tjay in connection with the incident on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. According to reports, the gunshot was fired by an associate during the fight, not by Lil Tjay himself. The Bronx rapper was released after spending a night in custody and subsequently addressed the situation publicly, escalating tensions with comments directed at Offset.

Images of Offset during his hospitalization circulated widely across social media platforms. Photographs showed him in a wheelchair outside the hospital, wearing a gown with visible bandages and medical monitors, moments that quickly became part of the broader online narrative surrounding the incident. He was discharged on April 10, just hours before sharing his message.
