KCON LA 2026 officially kicks off today, Friday, August 14, bringing thousands of fans to the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena for the opening day of the three-day celebration of K-pop and Korean culture.
Headlining the first M Countdown concert at Crypto.com Arena is NCT 127, who return to KCON with an expanded headline performance as part of this year’s new one-hour headliner format. The SM Entertainment group leads a stacked bill featuring TREASURE, &TEAM, KickFlip, SANTOS BRAVOS, H//PE Princess, Ko1KEYZ, Wanna One, WING, from20 & HELLO GLOOM, KEYVITUP, ONE PACT, Lee Jun Hyuk, and YIM Siwan.
The festivities begin long before the evening concert. Throughout the day, fans can explore the Festival Grounds at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where multiple stages host artist showcases, dance performances, fan engagements, and special events. The Artist Stage by Olive Young Festa, Toyota Music Den Stage, and Dance Stage by Sanrio will feature performances and interactive programming alongside K-beauty experiences, Korean food vendors, shopping opportunities, and K-drama activations.
Running from August 14 through August 16, KCON LA 2026 carries the theme “Walk in SOUL CITY,” transforming downtown Los Angeles into an immersive celebration of Korean entertainment and culture. This year’s edition also introduces the first-ever Olive Young Festa K-Beauty Playground, showcasing 55 Korean beauty and lifestyle brands, while the K-Food Zone and K-Story Zone expand the festival beyond music.
Friday’s concert marks the beginning of a weekend packed with major performances. ZEROBASEONE will headline Saturday’s M Countdown alongside ILLIT, P1Harmony, TAEYONG, YEONJUN, and others, before TOMORROW X TOGETHER closes the festival on Sunday with support from ALLDAY PROJECT, JO1, MEOVV, and additional artists.
