How would you define your music?

Versatile. It’s very different depending on how I feel and what I write about.

Your voice has a unique blend of influences from your British life, Romanian family upbringing, and a love for Arabic-influenced music. How do these diverse influences shape your musical style and choices?

I pay attention to different audiences and what they enjoy, and I try to subtly blend those elements into my songs, ensuring each one is unique.

Your cover of James Bay’s “Let It Go” has achieved remarkable success with over 3 million streams. How did it feel when you realized your music was resonating with such a wide audience?

I can’t express a specific emotion because I’m still in shock to this day. However, if I had to choose one, it would probably be gratefulness. Without the audience who finds solace in my music, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

You recently released a cover of Birdy’s “Wings.” What inspired you to cover that particular song, and what message did you aim to convey with your rendition?

I lost my granddad 7 years ago, and every time I sing that song, it hits close to home. I wanted to give back through the emotions I convey in my music.

All I want to convey right now is that it’s a work in progress. We’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to share what I believe is a part of me. My music is where you can truly understand me better.

What are your aspirations and goals as a singer in the years to come?

My primary goal is to evoke emotions through my music, to make people feel heard.

What is a message you would like to give through your music and why?

The world isn’t perfect, and we all make mistakes. It’s part of living and learning. It’s okay to feel and validate your own emotions.

Write here something you want to let people know.

Everything in the world serves a purpose, even if it doesn’t seem like it right now. There’s already a plan in place.
