YERO, a rising star from Athens, Greece, is quickly making waves in the dance music world with his groovy, energetic beats. Blending genres like tribal tech, Afro tech, and house, YERO’s sound is unmistakable—packed with non-stop energy and rhythm. What started as a private passion for music soon evolved into a full-fledged career. His stage name, YERO, is derived from his Greek surname. Initially just a casual Instagram handle, it quickly became a key part of his identity as an artist. Recently, YERO fulfilled every DJ’s dream by performing at Tomorrowland.
His debut single, “Wonderful Life (Kryder’s Guilty Pleasure Mix)” featuring Christian Burns, has already amassed an impressive 280,000 streams on Spotify. “I was confident it would do well,” YERO admits. “We worked on it for almost a year before its release, and we were sure about it.”
Looking ahead, YERO is working on new material, with a fresh track set to drop this month.
In his exclusive interview with InMusic, YERO opens up about his journey, creative process, and the success of his debut single, “Wonderful Life.”
How would you define your music?
Non-stop groovy and energetic.
Why did you choose YERO as your stage name and what does this name mean to you?
Well this came out of nowhere,with no preparation behind it as i was using it for fun at my private insta account. So when we had to choose fast in order to start this new project I said why not maybe that’s fine as it’s easy plus it’s the half of my greek surname.
What inspires your creative process?
Creating music is my kind of psychotherapy as it makes me forget everything and “fly away”. I always feel full & happy after a creative studio session. Positive thinking & love for life is my main influence.
You performed at Tomorrowland a few weeks ago. What do you enjoy most when you perform live?
Especially at Tomorrowland I love the fact that the crowd is educated and had great reaction. That’s the best feeling for a dj.
Can you tell us about your latest single “Wonderful Life”?
We managed to bring a classic vocal back to the future using current sound and i’m very proud of that.
What do you hope listeners will take away from this new song?
Good vibes and the main meaning of life that we should try and enjoy it because it’s wonderful!
You teamed up with Christian Burns and Kryder on this song. What was it like working with them?
Kryder is a long time friend and is always a pleasure to work with him. Christian has an amazing voice that worked great for this vocal.

To be honest I was very confident that it would do well, we worked on it almost a year before its release and we were pretty much sure about it.
What’s next for you musically? Can we expect any new music soon?
A lot of music coming in the next months! My next release “After hours” will be online by the end of this month.
What is a message you would like to give through your music, and why?
I know it might sound simple but spreading good vibes & fun through music is my main target!
