aespa have shared the first official concept photos for their upcoming Japanese mini-album KISS N TELL, giving fans an eye-catching first look at the group’s next era. The vibrant images arrive weeks after the project was first announced and further build anticipation ahead of its July 24 release at midnight KST/JST.
The newly released teasers showcase Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning embracing a bold, playful aesthetic. Each member appears in colorful wigs paired with glamorous styling, creating one of aespa’s most striking visual concepts to date. The photos lean into bright colors and fashion-forward looks, signaling a fresh creative direction for the group’s first Japanese mini-album.
SM Entertainment also reminded fans that KISS N TELL is available to pre-save and pre-add across major digital streaming platforms, allowing listeners to automatically access the release when it drops later this month.
KISS N TELL represents an important milestone in aespa’s career as their first Japanese mini-album. Although the quartet has already built a strong presence in Japan through previous singles, concerts and arena tours, this project marks their first extended Japanese release as they continue expanding their international catalog.
The rollout comes during a period of significant commercial momentum. aespa’s sophomore Korean studio album, LEMONADE, debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 with 41,000 equivalent album units in the United States.
That achievement gave aespa their third top 10 entry on the Billboard 200, following Girls, which reached No. 3 in 2022, and MY WORLD, which peaked at No. 9 in 2023. Their chart history has also expanded through Rich Man (No. 14), SAVAGE (No. 20), Armageddon (No. 25), Drama (No. 33) and Whiplash (No. 50).
Commercial momentum has been equally impressive in South Korea. LEMONADE sold 842,131 copies on Hanteo during its first day of release, securing the second-largest opening day for a female artist in 2026 while also ranking among the strongest first-day performances ever recorded by a female K-pop group on the platform.
