KAROL G has entered a new creative chapter with No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, an album that trades the sun-soaked celebration of Tropicoqueta for a more intimate, emotionally layered journey. Across 14 tracks, the Colombian superstar expands her sound without abandoning the Latin influences that made her one of the biggest artists in the world.
Released on August 7, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto arrives as KAROL G’s seventh studio album and one of her most personal projects to date. Built around themes of love, heartbreak, healing, nostalgia and self-discovery, the record unfolds like a continuous emotional narrative rather than a collection of standalone singles. That vision is reinforced by a carefully assembled team of collaborators, including Bruno Mars, Drake, Greg Gonzalez, Judeline and Rusowsky, alongside producers such as Ovy On The Drums, Tainy, Sky Rompiendo, Edgar Barrera and Cashmere Cat.
The biggest difference from Tropicoqueta is its musical ambition. While the previous album leaned heavily into traditional Latin rhythms and celebratory energy, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto broadens its palette with atmospheric pop, alternative textures, R&B influences and organic instrumentation. Even as the production evolves, KAROL G’s identity remains unmistakable, allowing her vocals to become the emotional centerpiece throughout the project.
That approach pays off on songs like “Final Feliz,” where her voice carries the weight of the storytelling with remarkable restraint and vulnerability. Another standout is “Still,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars. Not only does it mark KAROL G’s first song performed entirely in English, but it also showcases one of the strongest vocal performances of her career. The pair share effortless chemistry, with Bruno once again proving why he consistently elevates every artist he works alongside, much like he did with ROSÉ on “APT.”
Elsewhere, “Ahí” pairs KAROL G with Drake on one of the album’s smoothest moments. Blending relaxed reggaeton rhythms, warm acoustic guitar and subtle R&B production, the collaboration feels natural rather than forced. Drake’s Spanish-language contributions and playful interpolation of his own Maid of Honour track “New Bestie” give the record an extra layer of personality while complementing KAROL G’s emotionally guarded lyrics.
Beyond its biggest collaborations, the album succeeds because it rarely chases obvious commercial moments. Instead, it allows quieter tracks to breathe, trusting understated arrangements and honest songwriting over oversized hooks. That confidence gives the project a sense of cohesion that becomes more rewarding with each listen.
