MONSTA X has officially revealed the full tracklist for its upcoming EP The Phase, giving fans their clearest look yet at the group’s next Korean comeback. Scheduled for release on September 4, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST, the six-track project will be led by the title track, “MAGIC.”

The newly unveiled tracklist introduces six songs: “MAGIC,” “Type X,” “SURVIVOR,” “Electric Heart,” “That’s My Girl,” and “Sweet Night, Sweet Morning.” Beyond confirming the song titles, the credits also highlight the members’ growing creative involvement, with Jooheon (JOOHONEY) playing a significant role across the project and Hyungwon contributing as a songwriter.

Jooheon is credited for lyrics and production on both “SURVIVOR” and “Electric Heart,” continuing the artistic influence he has brought to MONSTA X’s catalog throughout recent years. Hyungwon, meanwhile, receives songwriting credits on “Sweet Night, Sweet Morning.”

The tracklist arrives just days after MONSTA X officially announced The Phase on August 6 with a mysterious 19-second teaser. Built around monochrome visuals and swirling particles that gradually formed abstract silhouettes of the six members, the cinematic clip immediately sparked speculation about the EP’s darker concept while keeping the music itself under wraps.

The Phase follows the group’s English-language album Unfold, released on April 3, 2026 through Intertwine. That project explored a brighter pop direction across singles including “Baby Blue,” “Growing Pains,” and “Heal.” Commercially, Unfold debuted at No. 17 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart with 20,396 first-week sales, while reaching No. 41 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

The era also delivered one of MONSTA X’s strongest recent performances in the United States. Lead single “Heal” climbed to No. 33 on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart, remaining on the ranking for four consecutive weeks and reinforcing the group’s continued crossover success in Western markets.
