KISS N TELL represents another milestone in the group’s steady expansion into Japan. Although aespa have already established themselves through successful singles, arena tours and live performances in the country, this will be their first extended Japanese release.

The announcement comes during an especially successful commercial period. Earlier this year, aespa released their second Korean studio album, LEMONADE, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 with 41,000 equivalent album units. The achievement gave the quartet their third top 10 entry on the chart, adding to an impressive international résumé that also includes Girls, MY WORLD, Rich Man, SAVAGE, Armageddon, Drama and Whiplash.

Success has been just as strong in South Korea. LEMONADE sold 842,131 copies on Hanteo during its first day, recording the second-largest opening day for a female artist in 2026 and one of the biggest first-day totals ever achieved by a female K-pop group on the platform.
