BLACKPINK has added another historic achievement to its résumé. Following the latest update to the Billboard Hot 100, JENNIE’s “Dracula (Remix)” with Tame Impala climbed to a new peak of No. 5, giving the singer her first-ever top five hit on the chart while setting a new record for K-pop girl groups.
The remix rises from No. 7 to No. 5 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, becoming the highest-charting song of JENNIE’s solo career in the United States.
JENNIE now joins fellow BLACKPINK member ROSÉ as the only female K-pop soloists to reach the Billboard Hot 100’s top five. ROSÉ previously made history when “APT.” peaked at No. 3, setting the benchmark for female K-pop solo acts.
Together, those achievements have pushed BLACKPINK into uncharted territory. The quartet is now the first K-pop girl group in Billboard history to have two different members earn top-five solo hits on the Hot 100.
Beyond K-pop, the accomplishment places BLACKPINK alongside one of pop music’s most iconic groups. Destiny’s Child is the only other girl group to produce multiple members with top-five solo hits on the Billboard Hot 100, making BLACKPINK just the second act to reach the milestone.
Released on February 6, “Dracula (Remix)” paired JENNIE with Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. The track quickly found an audience online, fueled by a viral TikTok trend that helped drive streaming numbers worldwide. Written by Parker and JENNIE alongside Sarah Aarons and Carly Gibert, the remix has already reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 before climbing even higher in the United States.
