Lil Wayne is officially heading to Fortnite. Epic Games has announced that the rap icon will join the game’s Icon Series on September 12, bringing a collection of cosmetics and a new music crossover to the Fortnite universe.
The announcement came through Fortnite’s official account, which teased the collaboration with a reference to Wayne’s famous “Weezy F Baby” nickname: “the F is for Fortnite.” The reveal confirms Lil Wayne as the latest major music star to receive an in-game presence, continuing Epic Games’ push to connect Fortnite with some of the biggest names in music.

Lil Wayne’s Fortnite collaboration will be available through the Item Shop on September 12 as part of the Icon Series. Official promotional artwork shows two distinct outfits based on the rapper. One features Wayne in a black suit jacket covered with yellow graffiti graphics, paired with a white collared shirt, a black tie marked “MILLIONAIRE,” blonde dreadlocks and gold-framed sunglasses.
The second style takes a more heavily customized approach. Wayne appears shirtless with prominent chest tattoos, including “WEEZY,” while wearing a backward red cap, silver-framed sunglasses and layered chains. Bright red lava-like effects run across his arms, shoulders and torso, giving the outfit a distinctly Fortnite-inspired finish.
The collaboration also includes several accessories visible in the promotional artwork. Among them are a custom graffiti skateboard marked “WEEZY,” a black speaker-style back bling with gold details, a stack of golden Young Money “M” blocks and a pickaxe resembling a decorated skateboard or staff featuring an “M” logo.
Wayne already has a connection to Fortnite Festival through Tyler, the Creator’s “Sticky,” where he appears as an uncredited featured artist.
The collaboration also follows a busy stretch for Fortnite’s music-focused expansions. Addison Rae officially joined the Icon Series on August 6, with cosmetics inspired by her image and “Diet Pepsi” and “Fame Is A Gun” added as Jam Tracks.
That crossover arrived shortly after Fortnite continued building its music roster around artists including Lil Tecca, Laufey, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, LISA, Snoop Dogg and Bruno Mars. Outside Festival, the Icon Series has also featured major stars such as Billie Eilish, Eminem, The Weeknd and Olivia Rodrigo.
