BTS have officially unveiled the full songwriting and production credits for their upcoming album ARIRANG, offering a detailed look at the creative forces behind one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
Set to arrive March 20, ARIRANG marks the group’s first full-length studio album as a complete unit in nearly four years, following 2022’s anthology Proof. The project comes after the members fulfilled their mandatory military service and pursued solo careers. Now reunited, they return with a 14-track record rooted in the legacy of the traditional Korean folk song “Arirang,” a cultural symbol of longing, resilience, and identity.
The album’s lead single, “SWIM,” is produced by Tyler Spry and Leclair, with songwriting credits including RM and Ryan Tedder. Across the tracklist, the members are deeply involved in writing.
Production credits reveal a global lineup. Diplo plays a major role, contributing to multiple tracks including “Body to Bod,” “FYA,” “Like Animals,” “One More Night,” and “Into the Sun.” Mike WiLL Made-It appears on “Aliens” and “2.0,” while Ryan Tedder lends his touch to “Body to Bod,” “SWIM,” and “NORMAL.” Kevin Parker co-produces “Merry Go Round.”
Diplo recently described the album as the “craziest album ever” in an interview with TMZ, suggesting its impact could be seismic. He praised the group’s creative control, calling them “so hands-on” and highlighting Jung Kook’s vocals. “No autotune, perfect voice,” Diplo said, emphasizing the group’s technical skill and versatility.
Other producers and writers on the album include El Guincho, Flume, NITTI, Tyler Johnson, Sam Homaee, Sarah Aarons, GHSTLOOP, and Y2K. Lyrically, the members — RM, SUGA, j-hope, Jung Kook, V, and Jimin — are credited across the majority of tracks.
