IVE are preparing to open a new chapter in their career. Over the past few days, the K-pop group has started teasing a new era with cryptic “Coming Soon” videos. They have also launched a countdown set for February 9. According to reports from Korean web portal Daum, the group will release its second full-length album at the end of February, marking their first studio album in nearly three years. The project arrives two years and ten months after their debut album I’ve IVE, released in 2023.
IVE’s track record sets a formidable standard. Since their debut, the group has consistently dominated major award ceremonies and charts, establishing themselves as one of the defining acts of K-pop’s fourth generation. In 2022, “Love Dive” sparked a cultural moment, sweeping Song of the Year honors at the Melon Music Awards, MAMA, Asian Artist Awards, and Golden Disc Awards. That momentum continued in 2023, when I’ve IVE earned Album of the Year at the Melon Music Awards.
More recently, IVE have maintained their chart strength with the mini-albums IVE SWITCH, IVE EMPATHY, and IVE SECRET. Each project debuted at No. 1 on the Circle Album Chart, contributing to further wins at MAMA, the Melon Music Awards, and the Asian Artist Awards.
