JISOO is officially moving into the next phase of her solo career. The BLACKPINK star has announced “CLICK,” a new single arriving September 4 that will serve as the lead track from her long-awaited debut studio album.
The announcement follows days of speculation surrounding JISOO’s mysterious website update. The site initially displayed an eerie illustration of an abandoned carnival with a “FUNLAND” sign, before the latest update replaced the name with “JISOO,” turning the unsettling setting into a clear piece of the rollout for her upcoming era.
The visual shift adds a darker edge to the campaign. The deserted funfair, surrounded by a hazy atmosphere and seemingly frozen in time, now carries JISOO’s name at its center, suggesting that the imagery could be closely connected to the themes or visual direction of her debut album.
“CLICK” marks an important milestone for JISOO, as it will be the first official preview of her debut full-length project. The music video was reportedly filmed in Bangkok.
Fans have been waiting for the album since JISOO began teasing a larger solo project throughout 2026. During a recent appearance on Hot Ones, she confirmed that the record was nearing completion and explained that she had deliberately explored a wide range of sounds while working on it.
“This new album is my first full-length album, so I made the effort to show a variety of charms,” JISOO said. She explained that the project combines musical styles she already enjoys with other genres she listens to, with the intention of adding “a bit of color to the album.”
Her comments followed months of anticipation after the release of Amortage, her 2025 mini-album. That project included songs such as “Earthquake,” “Your Love” and “Hugs & Kisses” and established the foundation for JISOO’s solo identity outside of BLACKPINK.
