NCT WISH step into a new phase with the release of their first Korean full-length album, Ode to Love, arriving April 20, 2026 via SM Entertainment. The 10-track project expands the group’s sound while marking a key milestone just over two years after their February 2024 debut.
Built on a mix of New Jack Swing, UK Garage, and ‘90s hip-hop influences, the album leans into brighter textures without losing the group’s polished pop identity. The title track “Ode to Love” stands at the center of that approach, flipping the recognizable humming motif from The Cranberries’ 1994 song “Ode to My Family” into a UK Garage-inspired dance-pop record. Instead of nostalgia for its own sake, the interpolation feels purposeful, pairing upbeat rhythms with a message rooted in warmth and emotional openness.
That direction aligns with how the group has framed the release. In pre-release comments, members pointed to the track’s “du-dudu-du” hook as a defining moment for their identity moving forward, aiming for something instantly recognizable but still grounded in sincerity. Early performances reinforced that intent, with “Ode to Love” and the B-side “Sticky” debuting live during their ‘INTO THE WISH : Our WISH’ encore concerts in Seoul from April 17 to 19, giving fans a preview just days before the official drop.
Momentum has been building steadily. Since debuting in 2024, NCT WISH have already secured two consecutive million-selling releases across Korea and Japan, while rolling out three mini albums, a Japanese full-length project, and two Asia tours. Those numbers position Ode to Love less as a breakout attempt and more as a consolidation moment.
